Sit-Back Attack crafting system

Hello again, more progress has been made on Sit-Back Attack and we're excited to bring you the news. This time around we're showcasing some of the crafting system. This is by no means finished but we got the primary concept down and some UI's finished. Take a look and let us know what you think in the comments below!

As always the convenient menu to the right of the screen has access to all areas of the game and can be accessed even while in combat. Tooltips will display more details on where each icon will direct you. Once you click the crafting icon the above UI will be displayed. Crafting from there is quite simple.

There are two primary ways to craft. Either click the Craft Menu button and a drop down shows with all the items you can craft. Click the item you wish to craft and all the materials will fill out automatically for you. From there just click the green Craft button to craft your item. Crafting, especially potions is a quick process and you can spam the button to make multiple potions quickly. You can also drag the materials over to the open slots just to the right of your material list. Once the correct items are in the open slots your item will show up and you'll be able to spam crafting just as you did with the drop down.

Each base material used for crafting gives you offensive stats such as strength, intellect, focus and deception. The support materials give defensive stats like vitality, mind, agility and luck. The other materials are used to alter the equipment itself. Depending on how you combine materials you could end up with a ring that gives Guard 5% and Ice Mastery. The choice of what you craft is dependent on what materials you choose to use. The results are 64 unique equipment pieces customized to your exact specifications.

The potions you can craft do not require a base or support material, only reagents. Mixing a Watercrystal for example with any other crystal except Firecrystals which have no specific quality for potions can make a unique potion for use in battle. These potions can then be used on any character in the battle, including our enemy. But be mindful with potions as they do incur a cooldown. This cooldown is reduced by one second for each action an enemy performs and is reset completely upon battle completion. So using potions strategically is vital to success.

As displayed above the options for crafting are quite numerous. There are a ton of ways to customize each item. Rather you want to focus in one a specific mastery or become a jack-of-all the option is completely yours. But that is not where crafting stops. Also displayed in that above video is the ability to level up crafted item. This increases the power of the item... obviously. But once you reach 99 you can use reagents similar to the ones you used to craft the item to upgrade its power/tier. So, for an item at level 99, once you apply the power up it will become level 100 and change in color. For example a level 99 amulet you just crafted would power up from tier 1 to tier 2, making its level 100 and changing from gray to green. You can now power up this item until 199. Again you will be able to apply a power up increasing its level to 200 and changing it to blue. This can be done until the max level of 500 is reached.

Finally I wanted to tease a little with runes. This is another item that will be accessible through the potions window however will not share a cooldown with potions. These runes will have a myriad of applications. One of my favorite being enemy transformations. Applying runes to enemies could give them special attacks or increase damage done. Also certain runes will be able to be applied in a pinch. If you're about to die some runes when applied to enemies reset the battle and lower difficulty tiers! We're still working on the rune system so keep in touch for more information about runes and how they work!
